Before we tried out Napster, we did successfully transfer a few MP3 files from our library to the player via Windows Media 10, so the H10 did work well there right out of the box. For those of us who like me are old and forget to charge every now and then lil terror Iriver H10 holds a decent standby and awesome live charge.

The color screen on the H10 u10 quite nice. Those of you who read our Napster to Go review know that we had a bit of trouble initially setting up the iRiver to work with the NtG software.

The main feature that stands out is a picture option that allows you to view images you’ve stored in the pictures folder. Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. Unlike the iPod Photo you can simply drag and drop the images you want to view on the player into the correct folder and away you go. Whatever material it’s made out of gives you the added unpleasantness of having it feel sort of mysteriously icky in your hand.

We got some bad advice at first, to locate the photos inside the Photos folder inside the Media folder. You can’t just plug in a digital camera and download your images on the fly, but the drag and drop functionality is certainly a step in the right direction.
